Apply Wxx RT license for waveform file

This Closedcheckbox appears in the Misc section of the Signal Generator Settings window regardless of the test selection, however, it is not applicable to W-CDMA tests. For W-CDMA tests, the Signal Studio software must have the waveform licenses.

With some test case exceptions, by checking this box, the software uses the Signal Studio real-time license to create, download, and play waveform files for non-real-time signals. No waveform license is required. If the Signal Studio software is licensed for waveform files and this box is checked, the software ignores the waveform file licenses and uses the real-time license instead. But there is no benefit to using this feature when the Signal Studio software is licensed for both real-time signals and waveform file type signals.

The Wxx real-time license checkbox does not affect the UTRA Interferer in LTE 6.2.6 tests, whether or not Use User Defined Waveform is activated. It also doesn't affect the Wanted Signal for LTE Clause 7 and 8 tests when Use User Defined Waveform is activated.

To use this feature, the Signal Studio software must have the real-time license.

Exceptions

LTE test cases 8.3.4 to 8.3.9 requires the waveform licenses. For more information on waveform licenses, refer to the System Requirements.

State Checkbox

See the State Checkbox Behavior topic.

Offline Mode

See the Waveform Files topic.

Override Settings

By checking this box, it causes the grayed-out fields (inactive) to become active so they can be changed. The exception to this action is for the State checkbox and some of the fields when the PXB is used.

If the test settings are modified by using this feature, the test may no longer be in compliance with the 3GPP standards.

After modifying the settings, if the Override Settings is disabled by unchecking the box, the software resets the grayed out parameters back to their default settings based on the current eNB Type selection in the Common Settings.

This setting is not available and does not show for LTE FDD/TDD test case 6.7 Transmit Intermodulation.

Use User Defined Waveform

To use this feature, you must activate Override Settings. Consider the following when using a user-defined waveform:
